MINISTRIES – For further information, you may contact the church office at either the e-mail address given below or by leaving a phone message at the phone number listed below.  Your inquiry will be directed to the correct resource.

SESSION – The active elders sitting on Session follow the precepts and principles as recorded in the Book of Order as they oversee the spiritual and governmental needs of the church. The Session generally meets on the third Tues. of each month.  If you would care to use the church facilities or have an issue to bring before this church board, please call the church office and your request will be discussed at the next Session meeting.

DEACONS – The Board of Deacons oversees the well-being of the church family as well as sponsoring community outreach. They make home visits and call upon shut-ins, the elderly and the infirm as needed. They administer a prayer chain for all known to be in need and maintain an active food pantry with regular distribution on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Food is also available when emergency needs arise. The Deacons meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.  To request a visit for yourself or someone you know, please call the church office and leave a message.

FOOD PANTRY - The Food Pantry is located in the downstairs Fellowship Hall of the church.  Distribution is on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION – The church maintains an active program for young children ages 3 -12 on Sunday mornings at 9:30-10:30 am. A lectionary based Bible Study meets on Thursday at 3:30 pm from May through December. Confirmation classes and New Member classes are conducted when the population warrants it.

COUNTY CONNECTION – The church participates in this laity board, with lay representatives from all eight (8) Presbyterian churches in Sullivan County. It was established to provide a means for the churches of the county to share ideas and problem solve.

MUSIC – The church has an active chancel choir which enjoys providing anthems on a regular basis to add to the worship service. Choir practice is usually Wednesday at 8:00 pm.

THRIFT STORE – The church serves as host for a thrift store titled “The Ark” where patrons may find clothing as well as assorted household items and furniture. The store is open on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursdays from noon to 2:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

CLOTHING DROP - Bagged, clean, used clothing and toys for distribution to areas of need may be dropped off in the shed behind the church (at the side of the parking area).  This clothing is picked up regularly.

WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION – The Women’s Association, now known as Presbyterian Women, was established in 1889. They are strong workers for our church raising funds with luncheons, dinners, and sales. They are constantly working to keep the kitchen up-to-date and have raised the funds to be able to purchase commercial appliances (stove, refrigerators) and upgrade countertops. The association meets on the first Wednesday each month, except in July, August, and January at 1:00 pm. All women in our area are welcome and encouraged to join us for fun and fellowship.
